BBA was the executive architects for a new 7,000-sf luxury modern home, located in Altos del Mar in Miami Beach. This waterfront property consists of six-bedrooms with floor to ceiling windows, 5½ bathrooms, a full kitchen, and other unique amenities including a glass elevator to connect all floors. One of the home’s unique features is the main staircase that was intentionally built at a low angle to visually connect all levels as it invites guests to ascend to the upper floors and enjoy the view of the beach and sea beyond. The structure is completely done in steel, with poured architectural concrete and glass completing the exterior shell. The first-floor exterior deck has a covered outdoor kitchen and lounge area, a cabana, a sauna and a pool with a 60-foot swim lane. The rooftop deck holds incredible views from the deck and a full sized jacuzzi, perfect for entertaining.
